yes, because...

new ideas, or new products and services, will be prepared by teams on the basis of rationalizing future trends. this involves identifying elements of future trends which are 'real' and can be realized 'right now'.

participants who travel into the future will discover a world in which the impossible becomes possible, because the technological race is heating up and it’s the trends will ot only shock, but also constitute a source of new ideas.

rationalizing the Past

rationalizingthePast is a reflective simulation game, the aim of which is to practically implement the following motto from the game's creator: 'analyse mistakes so as not to make them again and successes so as to repeat them'.

it is worth analysing mistakes and successes, because this is the only way we can learn how to truly benefit from business hindsight.

it is worth analysing mistakes and successes, because we can fully consolidate good behaviour and attitudes.

it is worth analysing mistakes and successes, because it allows us to minimise the risk of behaving badly in the future, and helps us avoid having the wrong attitude.

the game is based on working with our ability and need to reflect on our actions. each team will square up to 3 historical events, real or fictional. with the use of the tools available to them, teams will prepare catalogues of mistakes which should be avoided and catalogues of successes which should be repeated.

it will not be an easy task, because you will have to face up to your own prejudice and assumptions.
events are selected in a controversial manner and conclusions will be applicable to your everyday professional life.

  • putting forward new ideas
  • and choosing the best solutions.

the game scenario for players is not fixed: participants should expect surprises and sudden changes to the game scenario. of course, the best project will win in the end, but time to prepare projects will be seriously limited...

uncertainty, new situations, time pressure and competitiveness are features of this strategic game.

the game is based on 4 strategic analysis tools:

  • the project matrix,
  • the 3 strategic project pillars,
  • the project card,
  • and business justification.
